Internet Yami-ichi: Day 2
Uttam came again and told me again how to spell his name in Tamil that he told me yesterday. There was a just small mistake. I come to like him more and more. I felt he is so reliable guy. After that, I said Panipuri when we chatting about food. I was a so surprised when he showed me 3D scanned Panipuri. It’s so funny!
Yami-ichi had a small talk event today. Angie Waller and Oscar Salguero gave us nice presentation. It’s so critical that Salguero showed us Penguin Minis and Exonemo’s new book concept are something similar. I agree with that Sembo said it’s so stressful when they check and finalizing data to print it. I have something crazy idea. To show us some stress that’s what a thing called books are for. You know, so it says “binding.” If you bind something, don’t you need tightness?
When we headed out Yami-ichi, Uttam gave me his origami tiger. Oh! I wanted to give him as thanks… But I could give him only my poor broad band: you can check it on my diary of two days ago. I feel Uttam can catch something ephemeral and fragile beauty from small things day by day. On the way home, I brought origami that Uttam gave me sooooo carefully. I was kind of like a kid. On the train or in the dumpling shop, I was with origami Uttam gave me in my hands the whole time.
