Tracing the RM’s trails.
I was not excited about going to Dia Beacon at first. Frankly, authoritative postwar American art is not my favorite. But to trace RM’s steps, I boarded the Metro-North Railroad to Dia.
In the installation, we have solved the following,
1. Where was RM standing and holding the camera when he took the photo posted on Instagram?
2. What was RM looking at in the photo posted on Instagram?
We were enjoying to analyze the positioning, the depth, the volume, the texture and the reflected image of works, which were changed by when our viewpoint shifted. We even counted the pipes in the ceiling and the grilles on the window. We could analyze the exhibition space from a deeper perspective than ever before. BTSarmy is also good at art appreciation.
