I cooked Mountain Dumplings by Remi Hirano.

When you cook dumplings, you need to wrap it. I often cook dumpling not only because of taste what I like. I am person who is getting lonely easily. So I want to spend time along with Mai, I cook dumplings.

But Mai was busy today so we couldn’t wrap it together. To wrap them alone is so lonely as much as I can’t withstand it. Remi Hirano is super great cooking lover in Japan. She invested Mountain Dumplings that can be cooked without wrapping process. If you meet Japanese, you should ask about her. They might know her well.

First off, cook the fillings as same way to cooking usual dumplings. And pan-fry or microwave it. After that, cut the dumpling skins into shapes likes wide noodles. As wide as your thumb. And boil it. Dish up the fillings on a plate, and hit with boiled dumpling skins over the fillings. On the top of mountain, you can put what you like herb or vegetables like cilantro or scallion. When people eat it, wrap fillings with dumplings skin by themselves chopsticks. That’s what is the mountain dumplings. You can call it as Lazy Dumplings or Mountain Gyoza. Gyoza means dumplings in Japanese. You know you can cook alone, but you can eat with too.
