Celebrating Juneteenth with tuna.
Finally, I bought the raw tuna at Top Line. I found their raw tuna in February, yet I didn’t buy it until today. It was priced $11.5 for 1lb. It is not too expensive compared to Japan. Hmm. At first I wanted to eat it raw. I smelled it and got a little worried, so I added salt and pan-grilled it rare with olive. I made the sauce for tuna with fine chopped scallion, basil and peanuts butter. It got so delicious. But, I’m not sure it was real tuna. Real tuna? Hmm. What is real tuna now? I heard some people eat moonfish as tuna. But, I’m not sure what is tuna now. What did I eat as tuna. Now, I’m getting to forget how tuna tastes… Anyway, I think tuna’s red is one of the brightest in this world. So I believe that it would suit Juneteenth celebration good match.
