The tempura, Shiso in Shiso.

I had a lot of shiso, because yesterday Micki-san let us pick shiso in her garden. She has the great garden of shiso but she said these were something like weeds for her. Too great.

I cooked the shiso tempura. First off, wash shiso leaves well and drain water well. Put the shiso leaf in flat, and put the next leaf on it, about 3 or 4 leaves. Roll up layered shiso leaves. That’s it. After that, you can put it in the batter and fry it. I made the batter from soy milk without egg. It was amazing. You can drink shiso juice which is contained by fried and rolled up shiso leaves. Very very very very very well. Yesterday I was 0% vegan but today I was 100% vegan. I’m 50% vegan these days.

At the night, I dreamed Hokkaido memory. I and Mai stopped by small beach and were picking up the tiny driftwoods.
